The "Homeland Love" Chinese-American Spring Festival Gala, hosted annually by the American Southern California Economic and Cultural Association (ASCECA), is widely recognized as one of Orange County’s premier cultural and philanthropic events. With a core mission of celebrating cultural unity, this gala promotes the richness of Chinese heritage, strengthens bonds within the global Chinese diaspora, and fosters multicultural understanding through an extraordinary artistic platform.
This large-scale production features original performances by acclaimed artists from Mainland China, across the United States, and local Southern California communities. The program showcases a captivating fusion of East and West — from Chinese folk dance, traditional instrumental ensembles, martial arts demonstrations, and ethnic fashion shows, to Western classical music (piano, violin, cello, and opera), Latin rhythms, ballet, contemporary street dance, and theatrical acrobatics. The participation of rising Chinese-American artists further underscores the gala’s commitment to intergenerational cultural transmission.
As a unique cultural spectacle, the gala blends the poetic elegance of Eastern aesthetics with the dynamic vitality of Western performance arts. From the restrained lyricism of Chinese tradition to the soaring emotional expressions of modern global artistry, the show creates a powerful cultural dialogue that transcends language and borders.
For more than 13 years, ASCECA has proudly presented this signature event at some of Orange County’s most prestigious venues, including the Irvine Barclay Theatre and Chapman University’s Musco Center for the Arts. Each year, the gala reaffirms its mission: to build cultural bridges through artistic excellence while supporting charitable initiatives that uplift the community.

整场演出汇聚了来自中国大陆、美国各州及南加州本地社区的专业艺术家，节目内容丰富多元，融合中西文化精粹。观众将欣赏到包括中国民俗舞蹈、传统器乐合奏、武术表演、民族服饰秀等中国元素，也将感受到西方古典音乐（钢琴、小提琴、大提琴、歌剧）、拉丁音乐节奏、芭蕾舞、街舞以及杂技剧场的精彩演绎。尤其值得一提的是，华裔新生代艺术家的加入，充分体现了晚会对跨代文化传承的坚定承诺。
作为一场独特的文化盛宴，晚会融合了东方艺术的诗意之美与西方舞台的澎湃能量，从含蓄婉约的东方抒情到情感迸发的西方张力，构建了一场跨越语言与国界的文化对话。
十三年来，ASCECA始终秉持通过艺术连接文化的初心，在尔湾柏克莱剧院及查普曼大学穆斯科艺术中心等橙县顶级场馆成功举办了多届春晚。每一届都再次印证了我们以艺术为桥梁、以公益为使命的坚定信念，为全球华人带来团圆与感动的文化盛典。

This Spring Festival Gala is not just a cultural feast, but also a celebration that fosters Sino-American cultural exchanges and friendships, drawing artists and audiences from around the world to celebrate the Lunar New Year together.
Huang Dongping, the founding president of the American Southern California Economic and cultural Association and the producer of the gala, explains that this event, themed "HOMELAND LOVE" and held at the Barclay Theater in Irvine, has been a cherished tradition for eleven years. The gala aims to promote Chinese culture, unite overseas Chinese, and enrich cultural life, binding sentiments of homeland and diaspora. It seeks to offer an artistic feast that eases homesickness and enhances the image of Chinese people, helping mainstream American communities understand Chinese culture. A hallmark of this year’s gala is the youthful rejuvenation of its performers and programs, with over half of the performances independently or collaboratively presented by second-generation Chinese Americans, ranging from children’s choirs at the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center to dance and music performances at Orange County Arts High School and traditional music at UC Irvine, serving as a testament to the successful cultural inheritance to the next generation.

美国南加州华人经贸文化协会创会会长兼晚会出品人黄冬萍表示，这场以“故乡情”为主题的春晚已在尔湾巴克莱大剧院成功举办了十一年。晚会的宗旨是弘扬中华文化，团结海外华人，并丰富他们的文化生活，通过艺术盛宴缓解乡愁，同时提升华人形象，让美国主流社会更深入了解中华文化。今年的春晚特色之一是节目和演员的年轻化，超过一半的节目由华裔二代独立或合作呈现，从南海岸中华文化中心的少儿合唱，到橙郡艺术高中的歌舞表演，再到尔湾加州大学的民乐演出，这些都是检验中华文化是否成功传承给下一代的重要标志。
