A National First-Class Performer and university faculty member, he holds a master’s degree in vocal music and graduated from the Vocal Performance Department of the China Conservatory of Music. He is a member of the Chinese Musicians Association and serves as an Executive Council Member of the China Ethnic Tenor Vocal Art Research Association. He studied under renowned vocal educators Professor Jin Tielin (Honorary President of the China Conservatory of Music) and Professor Yu Junjian (President of the China–ASEAN Art Academy).

He has represented cultural delegations organized by China’s Ministry of Culture, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture, and the Beijing Municipal Government on international performance tours and cultural exchanges in Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland, Japan, and Tanzania. His major stage credits include roles in the operas Eight Women Throw Themselves into the River (as Xiao Xu) and Xiao Erhei Gets Married (as the lead, Xiao Erhei), the cantata Liu Sanjie (as Tao Xiucai), and the original musical Red Plum Blossoms in Bloom produced by the China–ASEAN Art Academy (as the lead, Peng Wutong).

A master’s graduate of the China Conservatory of Music, she studied under renowned vocal educator Professor Wang Shikui, Chair of the Conservatory’s Vocal Department and Ph.D. supervisor. After graduation, she joined the China Oriental Song and Dance Ensemble as a featured young soloist.

Her stage and media credits include the acclaimed Chinese national opera Xiao Erhei Gets Married (as the Matchmaker), and recordings for major China Central Television programs and concerts, including CCTV-1’s public service series Fight for You and CCTV-4’s large-scale concert Zhonghua Qing: Love in Yanjin. She has also been repeatedly invited to appear on CCTV’s Folk Songs of China, I Want to Perform on the Spring Festival Gala, and Sing Every Day, and has performed in numerous provincial and municipal Spring Festival Galas and large-scale cultural events. She successfully presented her master’s graduation solo recitals at both the China Conservatory of Music and in Dalian.

Collaborating with celebrated composer Qi Jianbo and renowned lyricist Che Xing, she released the singles My Hometown Is My Root and Our Motherland Is Great, both accompanied by music videos. She also partnered with prominent musician Pang Long to release Spicy Hot and Love Overflowing, achieving over one million plays across major music platforms, and recorded the corporate anthem Dahongpao: Zhizhongqing for a leading enterprise, also produced as a music video.

Qu Jinli graduated from the Vocal & Opera Department of the Central Conservatory of Music, where she studied under renowned singers and educators Professor Ye Peiying and Professor Li Weibo. After graduation, she joined the PLA Air Force Song and Dance Ensemble, toured nationally with the opera Sister Jiang (Jiang Jie), and performed as the female lead in the opera Snowland Storm. She also participated in major military arts showcases, televised gala productions, and multiple performances and recordings for China Central Television (CCTV).

Qu later transferred to Beijing Television (BTV) Arts Center as a director, where she directed and produced high-profile broadcasts, including world-famous tenor Luciano Pavarotti’s final solo recital in Beijing, as well as coverage and recording of pianist Lang Lang’s piano recital in Beijing. She also contributed to the directing teams of large-scale BTV productions such as the Spring Festival Gala and Mid-Autumn Festival Gala.

In recent years, Qu has remained active on stage in the U.S., appearing as a soprano soloist at the 2024 New York Chinese New Year Gala, where she also served as Music Director. In 2025, she performed as a soprano soloist at the Southern California Chinese New Year Gala – Homeland Love (Irvine), and in March 2025, she served as a semifinal judge for the 6th Southern California University Alliance “Sing If You Want” Vocal Competition.

Zhao Chunsheng is a tenor who graduated from the Vocal Department of the Tianjin Conservatory of Music in 1988. That same year, he joined China’s Central Philharmonic Orchestra as a featured soloist, earning wide acclaim through performances in major concerts in China and internationally. He pursued advanced studies at the Central Conservatory of Music and the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, training under legendary vocal educators Professor Shen Xiang and Professor Zhou Xiaoyan.

Zhao starred in the French opera Faust at conductor Zheng Xiaoying’s Opera Center, and received top international honors, including the Grand Prize at the San Francisco Opera “Pacific Voices” International Opera Competition (1992) and the Gold Prize at Spain’s Julián Gayarre International Singing Competition (1994). In addition to his stage career, he played the male lead in the television drama Qing Feng (1987). In 1995, he moved to the United States for further study and graduated from The Juilliard School in New York.

A rising dancer and lead performer with China’s Oriental Song and Dance Ensemble, she holds a B.A. from the Beijing Dance Academy and an M.A. from the Beijing Film Academy. Her notable credits include portraying Xue Baochai in the large-scale immersive dance drama Dream of the Red Chamber on Water (2012), leading roles during “Today’s China” Art Week in New York, and solo appearances at Beijing’s Great Hall of the People. She has also performed internationally at institutions and cultural events including Queen’s University and Yale University, as well as the Toronto International Cultural Arts Festival (Herbert H. In subsequent years, she led major productions in Hong Kong and touring scenic shows, including the 17th “Fragrant River Moonlit Night” and the Ensemble’s global scenic spectacle Love of the Orient. Zhang Xuan (Annie Zhang) graduated from the Dance Department of Hebei Art Institute and formerly served as a principal dancer with the Jinan Military Region Avant-garde Song and Dance Troupe. Her solo piece “Mulan’s Return” won First Prize at the PLA-wide performance and earned her a Second-Class Merit citation. After transitioning from military service, she has frequently appeared as a soloist, lead dancer, and host in Sino-foreign cultural exchange events across Hebei Province.

Tang Yanwen is an award-winning yangqin virtuoso and recipient of a major honor from China’s Ministry of Culture. She has performed yangqin solos on U.S. television networks including CBS and ABC, and has appeared as a guest musician with Princess Cruises. Invited to present a featured yangqin solo concert at the Virginia Expo, she was praised by the Leesburg Times as an “extraordinary yangqin master.”

Hong Kong native Clara Lobel built a distinguished career in international trade and luxury real estate after immigrating to the U.S. in 2000. Licensed with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, she consistently ranked among top performers, earning multiple sales awards in the high-end market.

At the height of her success, Clara returned to her lifelong passions for art, culture, and aesthetics. A childhood devotee of Chinese zither, oil painting, and stage performance, she studied international etiquette and lifestyle aesthetics at Italy's Academy of Etiquette at age 25. Clara maintains peak discipline through yoga, Pilates, jazz dance, fitness, and golf, while dedicating herself to oil painting. In 2025, she completed "Riders Beneath the Red Mesa" (400 hours) and "Le Baiser aux Chandelles" (160 hours), the latter donated to The Royal Society of Saint George for a 2026 charity auction, where she holds Honorary Membership.

Zhang Hao is the founder of HAOTAICHI KUNGFU ACADEMY and an internationally recognized wushu (martial arts) elite athlete. A national and world Taijiquan champion, he previously served as a coach for China’s national wushu team, leading teams to major international competitions—including the World Junior Wushu Championships, the Asian Wushu Championships, and the World Traditional Wushu Championships—where they earned championship titles.

Taiwanese-American Triple-Threat Artist

A distinguished graduate of National Taiwan College of Performing Arts (TCPA) with a major in Peking Opera (Qingyi Huadan) and National Taiwan University of Arts (Drama Performance), she starred in over 50 TV dramas across Taiwan's major networks (TTV, CTV, CTS, FTV), collaborating with renowned Hong Kong and Taiwan actors including Tang Ya-zhi, Kitty Lai, Wang Hong, Seka, Kwok Yiu-ming, Simon Yam, Blue Heart Mei, Zhang Chen-guang, Long Shao-hua, Yang Gui-mei, and Lin Chao-qun.

Her music credits include Name Classic Records' Taiwanese singles EPs Jiao Hu Ni Dai and Bo Yuan de Ai. Stage highlights feature Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai: Three Lifetimes of Love (2014) and Father's Day Happy (2017 Chinese grand musical), plus guest vocalist at Yoga Lin's 2022 Christmas Concert at Las Vegas Resort World.

In Los Angeles, she has performed at multiple grand Chinese Spring Festival Galas and served as a judge for The Voice of China LA auditions, Super Girl LA auditions (Hunan TV), King of Karaoke (Tianxia TV), LA College Cup Singing Competition, and Neishang Beauty Pageant. She is Artistic Director of Youyou Theater Troupe and Executive Director of the Southern California Chinese Yoga Association.

Master Shi Yanqing was born in Handan, China. He began practicing traditional Wu Shu in the Shaolin Temple at nine. He was elected to the Shaolin Kungfu Monk Corps, in which he became a devout disciple of a Shaolin monk.

Shi Yanqing won multiple Boxing Champion titles in the national Shaolin boxing contest. In 1999, he was selected to carry out cultural exchanges around the world. In 2003, he won first place at the Korean International Kung Fu Tournament. He toured to United States, Italy, Thailand, Japan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Germany, Austria, and many other countries for cultural exchanges, he is passionate about sharing his knowledge to help others gain strength and balance and spreading Chinese culture through teaching Chinese Kung Fu.

Xu Li is the founder of the Irvine Pretty Ladies Qipao Modeling Team. A 2007 graduate of Beijing's New Silk Road Supermodel Academy, she trained under current New Silk Road CEO Tang Fan—joining alumni like Hu Bing and Qu Ying.​

Her career highlights include representing a state-owned enterprise at a New Zealand performance (2008); competing for three consecutive years in Beijing's Le Tui Zu Modeling Competition (2009); appearing on Hainan Provincial Spring Festival Gala for two years (2013); and leading 30 team members at the Los Angeles Hollywood Film Premiere alongside top models in 2018, earning industry acclaim.​

In 2023, her students competed for two years in the Overseas Chinese Mothers Elegance Contest. In 2025, Xu Li performed at the Los Angeles Irvine Hometown Love Spring Festival Gala, continuing to champion qipao culture and Eastern aesthetics.

Melody Deng (17) is an 11th-grade student at the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA). A lifelong arts enthusiast, she is passionate about singing, drawing, and dance—with a special dedication to vocal performance. Melody has competed in multiple singing and talent competitions, earning two first-place titles and one second-place finish. She hopes to use art to “light a lamp” that inspires and uplifts both herself and those around her.

Dr. Xu Linbao, a renowned Bay Area pain and orthopedic specialist, is a direct disciple of the orthopedics lineage from China's Luoyang Baima Temple. With over 30 years of experience, he practiced for 8 years in Beijing and Tokyo before serving Silicon Valley for 13 years, and relocated to Los Angeles last April to continue treating the community. He specializes in orthopedics, pain management, trauma therapy, and rehabilitation for both chronic and acute injuries from accidents.​

A lifelong dreamer of Sichuan face-changing (bian lian), Dr. Xu serendipitously met his 21-year-old master on a high-speed train during a recent China visit. Learning of Dr. Xu's mission to preserve this art in America despite being a 55-year-old "big uncle" apprentice, the master accepted him. Since returning, Dr. Xu has honed his skills through volunteer performances and eagerly brings rigorous training to showcase this Chinese national treasure on stage.

Founded in 2003, the Jinling Dance School has thrived for over two decades, nurturing many talented students. The school primarily aims to promote Chinese culture and foster multicultural exchanges. In 2023, it expanded by opening a branch in Walnut City. Jinling Dance School actively participates in international dance competitions and charity fundraisers, contributing to cultural exchanges between ethnic groups. Additionally, the school hosts large-scale public performances annually, offering its students professional stage experience through meticulously produced shows.

The Pretty Ladies Dance Ensemble stands as one of Southern California's most prominent Chinese-American dance groups. Established in 2010 as a nonprofit organization, the ensemble has dedicated over 16 years to promoting Chinese cultural heritage and advancing the art of dance.​

The group has successfully produced eight major stage productions, with acclaimed works like Chang'e Flying to the Moon and Thousand-Hand Guanyin earning widespread praise. They have been invited to perform at prestigious events, including international film festivals and the Hollywood China-U.S. Oscar Gala.​

Beyond artistic achievements, the ensemble actively engages in philanthropy and has been featured in special reports by major media outlets such as World Journal, Orange County Global Times, and Laguna Woods TV, earning recognition as a cultural ambassador for Chinese dance arts in Southern California.
美国俏佳人舞蹈艺术团 是南加州最具代表性的华裔舞蹈团体之一。自2010年成立以来，作为非营利性组织，艺术团始终致力于弘扬中华文化、推动舞蹈艺术的发展，至今已有十六年以上历史。

艺术团已成功推出八部大型舞台作品，其中《嫦娥奔月》《千手观音》等剧目广受赞誉，并多次受邀参加重量级文化活动，如国际电影节及好莱坞中美奥斯卡盛典。

在艺术成就之外，俏佳人艺术团积极投身公益事业，艺术团多次受到《世界日报》《橙县环球时报》《拉古娜伍兹电视台》等主流媒体的专题报道，被誉为南加州中华舞蹈艺术的文化使者。

Established in October 2016, the Chinese Universities Alumni Associations Alliance in Southern California (CUAAASC) is a non-profit joint society of 79 Southern California- based member alumni associations of universities in Mainland China, Taiwan, Macau and Hong Kong. As one of the 20 hobby clubs of the CUAAASC, the Dance Club has more than 100 dancers actively participating in Dance Troupes in 6 different locations. The Mongolian dance "Grassland Vibes" is a collaborative work between the men's dance team and the Irvine Dance Team.

南加州中华高校校友会联盟（CUAAASC）成立于 2016 年 10 月，是由南加州79 所中国大陆、台湾、澳门和香港高校校友会会员组成的非营利性联合组织。舞蹈团是南加州中华高校校友会联盟的 20 个兴趣小组之一，拥有 100余名舞蹈演员，活跃于 6 个不同的地区。蒙古族舞蹈《草原风情》是男子舞蹈队和尔湾舞蹈队的合作作品。

2017年起，来到美国后，致力于中国舞蹈文化的发扬和传播，带领着多支舞蹈比赛队参加美国各大舞蹈赛事，获得的奖项不计其数！包括由蔡京老师创编的少儿群舞《鲤鱼跃龙门》参加美国青少年顶级舞蹈赛事“YAGP”，预赛获得全场第三名，夺得加入全球决赛的资格，并在全球决赛夺得前12名的荣誉奖等等！

The Irvine Chinese Arts Group is an influential cultural organization in Southern California. Known for its high-level performances, the group exhibits strong artistic and professional qualities, particularly in its original dance productions. These shows, crafted and performed by skilled choreographers and dancers, have earned high acclaim from audiences. By hosting quality cultural events, the Irvine Chinese Arts Group not only preserves and promotes Chinese culture but also fosters cultural exchanges with the mainstream society.
