PROJECT DETAILS: 

We are looking for Executive Producer Assistant to oversee all aspects of weekly shoots designed to test technical and aesthetic factors to define the language of the format. This position is responsible for overseeing development of materials from inception to completion, including helping the creative team understand the objectives, target, messages, and desired outcome. Requires strong written and verbal communication skills, to clearly articulate the work to both internal and external marketing partners. This field role will manage all logistics from Pre-Production through Post while in the field. The ideal candidate has experience as both a Field Producer and a Line Producer. Must be a multi-tasker able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, an adept communicator and writer with an eye for detail, and have an acute understanding of digital cinema production, workflow, cinematography, and post- production. 


Specific Functions/Activities Summary 

Supports both the Production and Capture Departments and acts as logistical hub of information to other internal Departments while in the field Works closely with VP of Production, Line Producer, SVP of Capture, and SVP of Post to ensure that plans for technical goals can be achieved and delivered in a timely manner Develops and tracks weekly shoot budgets with high degree of accuracy Presents learnings to high level executives in a clear and concise manner Supports Departments by problem solving, anticipating needs and concerns, and providing solutions Schedules, tracks and manages assigned work within appropriate tracking tools Tracks work to schedules and communicates risks, opportunities, and deadlines (internal and external) Works with Production Office to oversee coordination of permits, insurance, call sheets, location information, crewing and casting. 


Job Responsibilities: 

  • Daily activities will include organizing and managing daily work schedule, taking minutes of meetings and assist with writing follow-up emails on action items. 
  • Communicate with all Managers on updates of issues and report runs.
  • Act as the first point of contact with employees and suppliers to Direct Report.
  • Be a motivator, fostering strong morale and team spirit between employees that are management by Direct Report, support the efforts of all managers as they pertain to Direct Report goals, promote and protect image of Direct Report and company.
  • Assist with the maintenance and growth of key accounts/issues managed by Direct Report. Make sure that key projects for department continue to be worked on timely and are progressing according to timeline of the project/goal.
  • Issue spot, research situations, draft emails per Direct Report direction to address an issue/problem and follow up. 


DIRECT REPORT: Position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer/President or Producers. 


REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Special Requirements: The Company requires that all individuals, subject to certain limited exceptions, be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The Company will consider requests for reasonable accommodations regarding this requirement. 


Minimum Requirements 

  • 3+ years experience in live action production, film, cinema, and immersive media working in a Field and/or Line Producer capacity   
  • Superior interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills   
  • Have expert knowledge and understanding of the following:   production budgeting/accounting, scheduling, workflow for live   action production and/or post-production   
  • Experience with large format/CG/360 content creation   
  • Superb organizational skills with ability to create executive   presentations, budget summaries, production plans, multi-project   timelines, etc.   
  • Adaptability and resilience to quick changes in priorities, technology,   tools and workflow   
  • Tireless attention to detail and follow through   
  • A sense of urgency balanced with the ability to prioritize and remain   calm   
  • Ability to work on a team and maintain a positive attitude   
  • Behavior consistent with MSG values  
  • 3-5 years of working experience as an Executive Assistant for C level employees or other High-Level Management.  
  •  Excellent knowledge of standard office administrative practices, best business practices and procedures.   
  • Must be a highly detail oriented individual, personable, and able to multitask while working with time sensitive processes.  
  •  Able to maintain a pleasant and positive demeanor during stressful and high demand situations.   
  • Individual should be able to Forward Think and Issue Spot.   
  • Someone who gets the big picture while also keeping track of little issues at that same time.   
  • Able to create your own tasks during down time with minimal direction and approval.   
  • Able to follow-up / follow through without having to be reminded.
  • Be able to give direction to best manage projects and others, and be able to identify when to step in during critical moments. 
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Be efficient with a high degree of accuracy. 
  • Interest in Film production, Film Distribution and Events operation. 


Preferred Requirements 

  • Strong proficiency with the following: MS Office 360, Calendar, Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Software(PS/PR/AI/AE/C4D), Movie Magic Budgeting & Scheduling, Final Cut, PowerPoint, Keynotes, Microsoft, Goggle One, Google Workspace.
  • Relevant film or Entertainment experience a plus.

EDUCATION: Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self- development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred. Educational requirements may differ from job to job based on the role.

  • English & Mandarin & Spanish (Big plus but not mandatory)
