Jeehyun "Paul" Kim

Jeehyun "Paul" Kim was born in Chicago, raised in South Korea, and currently lives in California. Paul has earned his MFA in Cinematography from Chapman University, being mentored under Johnny Jensen, A.S.C. and Bill Dill, A.S.C. He believes that each and everyone has their own unique story, and his goal is to deliver those stories and the emotions that come along through the lens.

He takes visual language and representation along with human identification and empathy as the key element in cinema. He aims to portray the emotions on the screen to be felt, connected, and shared throughout different cultures, bringing mutual understanding and intimacy among one another.
